Every timescale a registered manager is held to, on one A4 page, with the regulation behind each one. Pin it in the office. Give it to your deputy.
What is on it
- Restraint records: 24 hours, 48 hours, 5 days (Reg 35)
- Serious events to Ofsted without delay, in writing (Reg 40)
- Allegations to the LADO within one working day
- Return interviews within 72 hours of a child coming back
- Reg 44 monthly, Reg 45 six-monthly, and 28 days to Ofsted
- Statement of purpose revisions, absence notices, appraisals, Level 3 and Level 5 deadlines
- Ofsted notices by email: served the next working day
