This notice explains how SAFE STEP ACADEMY LTD ("SafeStep Academy", "we") uses personal information collected through this website. We are the data controller. Contact us through the contact form, or write to Earl Mill, Emerald Suite, Dowry Street, Oldham, OL8 2PF.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, work email, organisation, role, phone (if given), course interest, team size and message.
- Clock card form: your name, work email and role.
- Basic technical logs kept by our hosting provider to run and protect the site.
Please do not send us any information about children. Our forms are for adults enquiring about training.
Why we use it, and the lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange training: legitimate interests, and steps before a contract.
- To send the clock card you asked for: legitimate interests.
- To send updates on regulation changes: only if you tick the box (consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Our website host and form processor (Netlify) and our email provider, only to run these services. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: 24 months. Customer records: 6 years after our last contract, for tax and legal reasons. Update subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. If you switch the theme, your choice is stored in your own browser only.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. If you are unhappy, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
