Booking terms
The short version of how bookings, cancellations and licences work.
These terms apply when you book training or licence a pack from SAFE STEP ACADEMY LTD.
Bookings
- A booking is confirmed when we send written confirmation of the date, format, group size and price.
- We invoice on confirmation. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Cancellations more than 14 days before the date: no charge. 14 days or fewer: 50%. 48 hours or fewer: the full fee. You may move a date once at no charge with 14 days' notice.
Licensed packs
- A licence lets one named home (or the homes listed on the invoice) use the pack with its own staff for 12 months.
- Do not resell, share outside the licensed homes, or remove SafeStep Academy branding.
- Updates issued during the licence period are included.
What our training is, and is not
- Our training is not accredited, and records of completion are not qualifications.
- Training supports, and does not replace, your own policies, your duties as a registered person, or professional advice.
- We do not teach physical intervention. First aid content is awareness only.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability for any booking is limited to the price paid for it.
